Michael and Tanya founded the BRCA Research & Cure Alliance in 2022. With BRCA related cancers prevalent in their families, they felt compelled to create a not-forprofit organization that could strategically deploy resources to make the greatest impact to advance the prevention, treatment, and perhaps a CURE for BRCA related cancers.
Michael Polsky is a leading energy industry entrepreneur and innovator. In 2001, he founded Invenergy, which provides innovative power generation and storage solutions around the world that are creating a cleaner energy future. Invenergy is North America’s largest independent, privately held renewables company. Between 1985 and 2000, Michael founded and led two predecessor companies to Invenergy – Indeck Energy Services and SkyGen Energy – that helped pioneer the independent power generation and cogeneration industries.
Michael and Tanya are both originally from Ukraine, have six children, and live in Chicago.
